Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk have been the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Her early theater experience includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she was introduced to him in an actor's workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got married in 2009 and married at a civil wedding ceremony in the month of December in that same year. In Fredericton on April 10, 2011they renewed their vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Her most notable role was in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during production of the season three finale and announced this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she's ready to go back to work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of production. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) among their top TV couple. Entertainment Television.
